Labor Day Draft Day

So this Labor day was my annual Fantasy Football Draft day. I spent the entire week before prepping with cheat sheets and mock drafts, and when it came down to the real draft, I got pretty much what I wanted. I spent my first two picks on wide receivers. I followed with two running backs, then drafted my quarterback, flex, defense/special teams and tight end before loading my bench. It went something like:

Antonio Brown
Calvin Johnson
Melvin Gordon
Arian Foster
Sam Bradford
C. J. Spiller
K.C. Chiefs
Josh Hill...

Now I know what your thinking. Sam Bradford. But I have to say if he can stay healthy, he'll be gold. I mean look at what he did in preseason game week 3. Ok, ok, It's a huge risk. My plan was to snag Tom Brady, but when it was revealed he wouldn't have the four game suspension, a lot of people finally saw his value. I'm phsyched about my wide receivers though! And I really think Spiller and Hill will come through big. Drew Brees is the quarterback throwing to them after all. Foster could be great too. So he'll miss a few weeks, but it's the end that matters in Fantasy Football. As for Gordon, I have no clue. I didn't follow him in college, but the cheat sheets thought high of him so we'll see.
